Welcome to the new followers! I hope you will find many things to keep you interested!
Two days ago it was my 28th birthday. I had a lamp which has 2 magnifying glasses built into it from my wife. It really helps a lot when doing really small details on the figures so will be extremely useful in the future (and hopefully help save my eyes!! haha).
From my parents I had a Roman centurion sword! Its a working replica, so it's basically a real centurion sword made how it should be (just made in the 21st century haha).
The centurion sword has solid brass parts, a thick blade and a super sharp point. It also has a leather scabbard/sheath. It's pretty heavy for its size!
I now have a large collection of swords. Mainly Samurai swords (a mixture of Katanas, Wakisashis, and Tantos), about 11 or so I think. Some are display models which have thinner blades and are blunt, and would not stand long in a fight, and some are working replicas. Basically that means they are built how they should be, sharp, and thick blades. I have a real samurai sword from WW2 ... or 1... I think WW2. I have a working replica of the "Kill Bill" sword, which I can't seem to find online anymore. It's all the blunt versions, or ones where the handle isn't wrapped in leather.
Ok... Now Grekwood Minis News:
I have been working on the supermarket PDF. I have been making the shelves to decorate the interior (although not as detailed as Joe's supermarket over at Zabadaks Blog..you should check it out, it's super impressive!!). I have tried to customise each piece on the shelves so that it isn't just colour blocks, so this is what I have so far (below). I still need to fill up the shelves a bit more. I don't want "fully stocked" shelves, so there will be the odd gap or two where products have been taken off by customers, to help add a bit of realism.
Hospital PDF
I do still plan to bring out the expansion pack for this hospital. It may have to wait until early spring as I have a lot of stuff going on at the moment, but I haven't forgot about it, so keep an eye out!
Zombie bust
Last thing: here's a WIP of the zombie bust I am making:
Ok, that's all for now. I need to try and get back into the blog scene, with more blog updates as they are becoming less over the past few months.
Cheers for looking!

Zombies uploaded!
Last weekend I was a first time trader at Crusade here in Cardiff! It went well, I mean I have nothing to compare it too, but I made a profit, and helped get the name out there a little more, so all is good! The weird thing though was that the items that sell well online didn't sell as well at the show, but the items that don't usually sell much online did really well, so it was strange, but a nice strange.
So with the show out of the way, I have now been able to release the supermarket zombies. If you haven't yet seen them then here they are:

So what am I to do now...
I am currently fixing up the figures which broke in the mould. They are pretty much done, but I decided to make a few improvements to Hammerman, Bexi - Warrior Princess (dalek looking figure) and the small alien. They should be finished off tomorrow as progress today went well.
Sculpting A Bust
On a side note, I have decided to try sculpting something a little larger as I feel like a bit of a change. I am going to attempt sculpting a "bust" as I saw a few at Crusade which I thought were awesome. So it'll basically be a head with shoulders, and maybe a bit of torso. I am thinking a zombie who is all torn up and decaying, but I'm not sure. I was thinking of a normal person as well, but a zombie seems to fit in with what I'm doing now. I probably won't sell it unless people really liked it and would want one for themselves, so it's currently just a bit of fun to see how it turns out. Who knows, it may be a disaster!! haha. The head/face will be about an inch tall, so not to huge, but not as tiny as my other stuff.
Righty oh then, That's all for now. Maybe some pics of the bust in progress in my next blog. I haven't started it yet... well, I rolled up tons of green stuff and made a head shape, but it's just a round ball at the moment.

11 Zombies (WIP)
Here's 11 of the supermarket bunch. I have another 5 in progress, so hopefully I can finish them very soon.
I have two more office people to finish, and one cleaner which is almost complete.
From Left: Fish Monger! He's a bit torn up. Then a butcher, again he was made slightly taller as I wanted him to be quite a strong looking character. 3rd is a chef with a rolling pin! Now the last 3 are general workers, so cashiers, shelf stacker's and so on.
I have one "cheese counter" type female to finish, and one female worker.
ROADS
They are now available on the website. We plan to release quite a lot of variations of these. So there will be different paths (tarmac, paving slabs etc), different road types, so plain, single yellow, double yellow, etc.
It's to make it easier to customise your own road.
DISCOUNT
There re only 13 days left on the 10% discount. So if you are in need of sculpting putties, or trees for scenery, or glue, or ball bearings, then go check it out.
Cheers.. Comments always welcome!

WIP Zombies, and 50 Posts!!
I have reached 50 posts!! That's quite a few I think since I only started in April/May 2012!
So I would like to thank everyone who has followed me so far and commented on my posts. Here's to another 50! *holds up imaginary beer*.
To start with, Brummie from Brummies Wargaming Blog has nominated me as one of his 5 nominees for the Liebster Award! So thanks!!
So, umm, What is it??
To be honest, when I read this I had no clue what it was, so I had to Google it. Turns out it is a meme, a bit like one of those *pass on to 10 of your friends and you'll receive a cool message at midnight* type thing (which I assume never happens), but at least this one is nicer and actually has a point to it.
Now for the difficult part.. I read that it is not obligatory to pass this on, which kinda make this easier as I need to choose 5 people to pass this on to. Now I only follow a handful of blogs, or at least a handful which do regular updates. Pretty much most I follow have already been nominated as the one's I follow are all within the same circle, or have over 200 followers! So choosing 5 is pretty much impossible! But I do appreciate the thought! :)
Zombies
So here's some more WIP:
Hopefully you will see my sculpting is getting better, and hopefully it will continue to do so. So from left to right. We have a classic style butcher with sausages around his neck and one of those old style hats. Then we have a female management person with a walkie talkie. Finally there is a male manager, who seems to be a bit torn up!
Turn an insult into a positive, always good :)
Ok, that's all for now, oh I guess more WIP will be up on my next blog. I did plan to post some photos of the roads we have in the pipe line, but that will have to be on my next blog as I need to take photos.
Righty oh then, Cheers for reading and the support! :)

Finally
On a different note, I decided to confront people on a forum who said my figures were "average" and cared little for them. I thought it was just a little rude as it was meant as an insult. So, I decided to join the forum, and reply. I said: Thanks for the compliment! Average means they are not as good as some, but it also means they are better than some out there. Which, when you consider I only started sculpting a year ago, with no prior experience or art background, that's pretty damn good from my point of view, as most have been sculpting far longer and are from art backgrounds.Turn an insult into a positive, always good :)
